Aloha kekahi i kekahi Visor

$297.00

It’s fresh, honest, upright and authentic. It honors Hawaiian weaving culture.
“It” is our collaboration with local North Shore resident Jill Komperda, a master lauhala weaver. Up until now, our “lauhala straw” hats have been synthetic imports. Now,  we can offer you traditional Hawaiian weaving fiber goods locally-sourced and embroidered out of our Home Waialua shop.
Now that’s shopping local!

Aloha kekahi i kekahi translates from the Hawaiian to “love one another”

Special Note: This premium visor is made upon order: Gathering the lauhala leaves and weaving your visor will start once your order is received. We will reach out to you directly and will let you know the approximate date to finish the weaving & embroidering of your order, based on availability. It will be a minimum of three weeks.
While-you-wait Bonus! Your “made upon order” experience will be enhanced! Two photos (one of the weaving and one of the embroidering) will be emailed to you illustrating your item’s creation!
Item limits: We must limit each order to two (2) items per customers. We have one weaver and she has only two hands.
